What you may not realize is that many Croatian footballers retire to the world of modern art.

I always think 2 – 1 is the best scoreline for a first leg, like it was almost intended, because it means the home team took advantage but the tie is very much still up in the air.

The away goal for Valour means they only a win, even by the slimmest of margins, as they got in this exact fixture when it was played in the league. Both teams will be out to score and both teams still have every chance to go through to face the much-maligned Ottawa Fury.

As usual, the liveblog will start half an hour before the game, at 9:00pm Atlantic. Feel free to stop by and leave a comment, or you can tweet directly to the blog using the hashtag #VALHFXlive.
