I’ve been looking forward to Vancouver’s debut since the team was announced. I used to live in Vancouver, and I think having a team there, above and beyond any Whitecaps woes, just gives Pacific a more niche, small-market identity.
So we’ll see, this evening, how that rivalry shakes out, if it does. It doesn’t necessarily have to. But Vancouver will have everything to prove, and a massive opportunity to do it.
All this assumes I can remain conscious and cogent through game number three. Follow along to find out below from 7:45pm.
