AUS: Acadia v. Saint Mary’s

Can't miss the opportunity to liveblog this guy's game.

Atlantic Canada’s top local soccer league (for now) is back, and instead of a preview, you get a liveblog covering two teams that probably won’t win it.

Not that this isn’t an important game. Saint Mary’s will be a playoff team with ambitions of hosting next year (more on that later) and this is the kind of game they need to be winning consistently (that’s the important word, here) if they’re going to threaten St. FX and UNB.

Acadia for their part have had a very rough pre-season but it’s now or never for a group of second and third-years who need to start getting big-game experience.

It’s opening weekend, and the smell of fall will be in the air from 7:00pm along with a vague tinge of electrical smoke as my computer melts under the strain running more than one window at a time.
