You know the league scheduled this deliberately. And you know what? Good. I love opening the year with this game — it promises intrigue and entertainment and very likely some escalation.
Cavalry have built their entire identity around trying to beat Forge — something they’ve never managed in a game that really matters. This game doesn’t matter, but it will to Cavalry because it’s their first since losing to Forge once again in the playoffs last year.
Yes, it’s hyped a lot, but it’s worth it. Expect fireworks.
