Surprisingly, these two teams have played some close games this year, mainly in Halifax. Whether Wanderers can deliver a similar performance on the road has been the devil of their season.
Today is a day of celebrations: Peter Schaale going back to school, Cavalry in the Voyageur’s Cup semi-final with a chance, Forge beating Antigua in CONCACAF.

We’re back after a slow cup-centric week with a boatload of Canadian Premier League action. But it doesn’t involve Wanderers–boo!
Halifax Wanderers lost another road game, which isn’t particularly interesting on its own–sometimes you lose road games–but the way they did it shows us a lot about how this league works.
Cavalry FC have developed a way of playing that suits a new league. Can it work long-term. Tommy Wheeldon Jr. has bought himself time to find out.
