Today is a day of celebrations: Peter Schaale going back to school, Cavalry in the Voyageur’s Cup semi-final with a chance, Forge beating Antigua in CONCACAF.
All of them are bittersweet, the kind of party you throw to avoid thinking too much about the present. Wanderers now have a massive hole on the back-line. Cavalry would probably rather not be playing right now. Forge haven’t played a league game in August yet and won’t until next week. They’ve got this figured out.
