A huge test awaits the Huskies after they upset the Dalhousie Tigers yesterday. But this is a game every team wants to play.
Nobody is scared of UPEI–but they should be, because there’s no school in AUS better at pulling off playoff upsets.
It’s the Halifax derby–live from Cape Breton. The AUS didn’t give us a playoff race but it did give us a great quarter-final rivalry. Saint Mary’s aren’t having much of a year in the other football, so no doubt the whole campus community will be cheering on the boys tonight. No doubt.
Usually I write obituaries for the teams that are out, but the playoff race this year was a non-event so let’s not bother rehashing all of that and cut straight to the games that matter.
