Points against Forge, points against anyone?
Wanderers have, I always think, played pretty well against Cavalry. That was particularly true at Wanderers’ Grounds last year, where both times the home side was unlucky not to eke a draw. Wanderers are a new team in 2020, but that’ll probably be the approach tonight, too.
Cavalry, for their measure, are walking wounded, as one often does on the muddy, attritional battlefields of… Spruce Meadows. The list of guys not playing is creeping closer in length to the list of guys playing. If there was ever a time for a surprise, it might be tonight for a side that might have gone one advance too far into the night.
