Bunkering and brain farts: Week Seven(?) in CanPL
Is it week six? Seven? Already? Nobody actually seems to know–I missed Week Three just because, and CanPL.ca is putting out Week 5 content, so every number is fair game.

Is this thing already over? For the record, I don’t think Cavalry have won the spring season yet–too many road games ahead–but they’re definitely close.
I’ve always liked midweek games. Apparently I’m the only one–attendance is regularly brutal at these the world over, and the Canadian Premier League is no exception. Forge drew nearly 6,000 on Wednesday before getting rained on Saturday, which actually isn’t bad at all, but boy does it look rough in a 27,000-seat stadium. Cavalry drew only 2,055.
CanPL teams generally do not have the depth, with 23-man rosters, to play back threes very often. So fans of that formation should treasure this past weekend, where we saw them from everyone!
Well, that was fun.
