York9 v. Wanderers (Oct. 19, 2019)

Here it is, the last one. I’m tearing up already.

Wanderers will, barring a goal difference miracle, finish last. York9 are on something of a roll. But this hasn’t been about the league table in some time. Wanderers want a win: for the fans, for themselves, and probably for the pundits who won’t stop talking about their road woes, too.

We’ll all be back next year. Not all of the players will be. For 2019 Wanderers FC, this is goodbye.

So let’s enjoy it, eh?

As usual, the liveblog will start half and hour before kick-off, at 2pm Atlantic. Come share one last round and maybe some music, and enjoy Year One for the last time.
