FC Edmonton need something, anything, to spark life into the club on its tenth anniversary. Eric Newendorp and Alan Koch have been brought in to win, but there is a long road ahead.
I really, really want to tell you this game between FC Edmonton and Halifax Wanderers won’t be a snore, but I can’t. Please, someone play attacking mids. Please.
Edmonton will always trust in the academy. On PEI, there might actually be some kids ready to take the next step, bolstered by an improved midfield.
Tiki-taka has never had a home in northern Alberta. It must be something about the climate, the culture, or the city relative to, say, Barcelona, that just prevents entertaining football.
